Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of working remotely while being part of a vibrant community health clinic committed to delivering high-quality mental health care. As a team member, you will enjoy a healthy work-life balance with weekdays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and while some flexibility may be necessary based on patient needs, the majority of your scheduling will be predictable, allowing for personal time management.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for new and existing clients to understand their unique needs and create personalized, actionable treatment plans tailored to their circumstances.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and solution-focused interventions during individual and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate psychoeducational groups and support sessions, encouraging clients to discuss their experiences and challenges in a nurturing environment that fosters community and mutual support.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to coordinate comprehensive care and improve patient treatment outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during emergencies, ensuring clients receive timely assistance and developing follow-up care plans.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to enhance their understanding and empower their treatment journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards using our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to share insights, discuss best practices, and collaborate on patient care strategies.

• Stay current with the latest research and advancements in mental health therapy, incorporating new knowledge into practice to enhance client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client base includes individuals from diverse backgrounds facing a variety of mental health challenges. You will work with children, adolescents, and adults who experience issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Understanding cultural competence and a client-centered approach will be essential in effectively meeting the needs of our community.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, effective treatment modalities, and therapeutic interventions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
