Key Responsibilities\n

As a Telehealth Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments to identify patient needs, emotional challenges, and mental health conditions.

• Developing personalized treatment plans that address the unique goals and circumstances of each patient.

• Administering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness practices, to guide clients toward recovery.

• Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and clinical notes in line with organizational protocols.

• Participating in regular case consultations with fellow team members to discuss patient progress and program improvements.

• Building and nurturing therapeutic relationships with patients through empathetic listening and by providing a non-judgmental space for open dialogue.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse array of clients, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health concerns. Our telehealth model allows you to reach populations who may have difficulty accessing traditional in-person therapy, including those in rural areas or individuals with mobility challenges. Qualifications\n

To be qualified for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.

• Current and valid licensure in the state of California as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling engaging with a variety of patient demographics.

• Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and document treatment progress.

Preferred Experience\n
