Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health status and develop tailored treatment plans aimed at addressing individual needs.

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy to clients, utilizing evidence-based practices to facilitate healing and recovery.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including medical professionals and support staff, to create integrated care plans that improve client outcomes.

• Handle crisis intervention effectively, employing proven strategies to ensure client safety and therapeutic support during emergencies.

• Monitor ongoing client progress, including tracking sessions, evaluations of treatment effectiveness, and necessary adjustments to care plans.

• Participate actively in team meetings and committees focused on quality improvement and service delivery enhancements.

• Complete all necessary documentation thoroughly and promptly, including assessments, progress notes, and referral reports.

• Maintain a positive rapport with clients, demonstrating trustworthiness and respect for diverse backgrounds and experiences.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will focus primarily on clients experiencing major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders, many of whom may be facing complex grief and loss situations due to their circumstances. Working within a hospice center, you will need to approach each client holistically, addressing not only their mental health needs but also recognizing the impact of their medical conditions on their emotional wellbeing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.

• Current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification in Massachusetts.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, preferably working with diverse populations.

• Strong understanding of mental health diagnoses, treatment modalities, and evidence-based clinical practices.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on therapeutic communication.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position is competitive, in the range of $70,000 to $85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
