Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Prime Psychiatry, your primary responsibilities will include:

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus on adults aged 18 and older facing mental illness challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mood-related disorders. You will assist clients in navigating daily life obstacles, implementing coping strategies, and fostering independence through enriched community engagement and personal development.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• A valid and current state license from the state board, specifically:

• Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)

• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
\n
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
\n
• Licensed Psychologist (PsyD)

\n
• Self-sufficiency to practice without supervision, exhibiting no prior disciplinary actions on the license.

• Strong interpersonal skills coupled with empathy and a commitment to the well-being of your clients.

Preferred Experience\n

Ideal candidates will have prior experience delivering direct clinical services within community health settings or similar environments.
