Work Environment\n

This position is designed to be entirely remote, using telehealth technologies to engage with patients from the comfort of their homes. You will have a structured work schedule, primarily from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts as necessary to accommodate patient availability. Flexibility is encouraged to meet the varying needs of our clients, fostering a responsive approach to care delivery.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, using standardized assessment tools and personal interviews to evaluate patients' psychological well-being effectively.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patients’ diagnoses and life situations, integrating evidence-based interventions that enhance therapeutic efficacy.

• Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic approaches, to address the unique needs of each client.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on addressing emotional concerns, fostering personal development, and promoting healthy coping strategies.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver an integrated approach to patient care, ensuring that all aspects of a patient’s treatment are addressed.

• Provide crisis intervention support, remaining calm and poised in high-pressure situations to assist patients experiencing acute mental health crises.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health diagnoses, treatment options, coping strategies, and available community resources to empower informed decision-making.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities, sharing insights and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

• Stay abreast of current research, methodologies, and regulations relevant to mental health therapy and telehealth practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW-C, LCPC, LMFT, or LCMFT in the state of Maryland.

• At least two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of various mental health treatment modalities.

• Proven skills in conducting thorough mental health assessments and creating effective treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits\n
