Key Responsibilities\n

The Licensed Mental Health Therapist will handle a variety of responsibilities that make crucial contributions to the therapeutic process:

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed assessments to accurately evaluate patients’ trauma histories and develop suitable treatment plans.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans centered around trauma recovery, resilience-building methods, and measurable clinical goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to the patient's unique circumstances.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and foster healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, integrated care for every patient.

• Provide timely crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring that patients receive the necessary support in critical situations.

• Deliver education and resources to patients and families regarding trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and ongoing recovery strategies.

• Maintain precise, confidential documentation of patient interactions in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development workshops focused on enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed on the latest developments in trauma therapy and best practices to continually enhance therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role directly engages with individuals who have faced varying degrees of trauma, including survivors of domestic abuse, veterans with PTSD, and those experiencing dissociative disorders. The therapist’s key focus is to provide compassionate support, guidance, and evidenced-based healing strategies tailored to each patient's unique experiences.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following educational and licensure requirements:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current, valid state licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT.
\n
• A baseline experience of 2 years in a relevant post-licensure mental health role is preferred.
\n
• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and proficiency in trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, a compassionate demeanor, and a non-judgmental approach to patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

While the minimum requirement is two years post-licensure experience, candidates with additional clinical training in trauma-focused therapies, family systems therapy, or alternative therapeutic modalities will be highly regarded. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is also beneficial to ensure accurate documentation and collaborative care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
