Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to thoroughly evaluate patients' trauma history, including detailed interviews and standardized assessment tools.

• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans designed to promote recovery and resilience, incorporating ongoing feedback from patients and their support systems.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions that are tailored to patient needs, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that help patients process traumatic experiences, develop coping strategies, and foster healing through supportive peer interactions.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, social workers, and other interdisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive and integrated care geared towards achieving optimal patient outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention and support in response to trauma-related emergencies, helping patients to navigate acute distress and manage immediate risk factors.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, preparing them with tools to navigate their recovery journey successfully.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in adherence to all legal and ethical standards, ensuring that patient information is secure and effectively communicated among the team.

• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities to enhance trauma-informed care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse population of adults and adolescents grappling with trauma-related issues. Many of our patients are survivors of abuse, violence, or significant life stressors. Therefore, a strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and the ability to provide compassionate care is essential for success in this role. By utilizing trauma-informed treatment modalities, you will play a crucial role in helping clients reclaim their narratives and foster resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
