Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to understand patients' histories and create tailored treatment plans.

• Design and implement individualized interventions that support trauma recovery, utilizing modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma and develop effective coping strategies.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure an integrated and holistic approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention support as needed, particularly during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and available resources, fostering a strong support system.

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards within electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to enhance shared knowledge and professional development in trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed about current research and best practices in trauma therapy to ensure effective treatment methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including PTSD and dissociative disorders. Many patients may come from diverse backgrounds, facing unique challenges in their recovery journey. Your role is crucial in providing them with effective therapeutic support as they work towards healing and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Arizona.
\n
• A strong foundation in trauma-informed treatment modalities and techniques.
\n
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster trust and rapport with patients.

• Capability to remain composed in high-pressure situations.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of relevant post-licensure experience is preferred, candidates with specialized training or certifications in trauma therapies will be highly regarded. Proven experience in delivering trauma-focused interventions and working with multidisciplinary teams will also be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this full-time position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. Additional compensation benefits include:
