Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients’ histories and craft tailored treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process their trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and enhance resilience.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide integrated and coordinated care that addresses both mental and emotional health needs.

• Provide crisis intervention assistance during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate support for clients in distress.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, empowering them with resources for their journey towards recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position will primarily focus on assisting clients who have experienced significant trauma, such as instances of abuse, violence, or loss. You will work closely with trauma survivors of varying backgrounds, helping them navigate the complexities of their experiences and equipping them with the tools necessary for recovery. Your expertise will play a crucial role in guiding individuals through their healing processes, promoting long-term mental health stability.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by compassion and a non-judgmental attitude.
