Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ histories and identify tailored treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with a focus on trauma recovery, ensuring that each patient's unique needs are addressed.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), effectively facilitating the healing process.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that promote emotional processing, coping skills development, and overall mental well-being.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, ensuring an integrated approach to patient care by sharing insights and treatment updates.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating strong problem-solving capabilities.

• Educate patients and their families about the effects of trauma, healthy coping mechanisms, and available community resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals struggling with the psychological impact of trauma, including those diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma, and various dissociative disorders. Many of our clients come from diverse backgrounds and may have faced significant hardships, making your expertise imperative in fostering a caring and non-judgmental therapeutic space that encourages healing and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, particularly in trauma-informed settings, is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience.
