This full-time position offers the opportunity to support clients through a combination of telehealth and in-person therapy sessions from our outpatient office located in Freeport, New York. Work Environment\n

This role offers a flexible remote work setting with the option to conduct in-person sessions as needed. Our practice prides itself on being client-centered while nurturing a collaborative and engaged team environment. You will have access to a supportive administrative staff who assists with client scheduling and service provisions during extended hours, enhancing your focus on care management. The center is open seven days a week from 7 am to 10 pm, allowing for flexible scheduling that accommodates both clinician and client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to thoroughly evaluate patients' trauma histories.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique recovery journey.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to assist clients in processing trauma and cultivating coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multi-disciplinary professionals to ensure cohesive and integrated patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, employing calm and evidence-based approaches.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses and equip them with coping mechanisms.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and continuing education focused on trauma-informed care.

Qualifications\n
