Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop personalized therapy plans tailored to clients' unique needs.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients, ensuring a supportive and respectful therapeutic environment.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals to create cohesive treatment plans and track client progress.

• Maintain meticulous and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus on serving individuals and families with limited access to traditional mental health services. You will address a diverse range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse. The goal is to empower clients by providing them with the tools and strategies necessary for improving their overall mental health and well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of New York.

• A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience, preferably within a clinical setting.
