This role is designed to be fulfilled remotely, allowing you to engage with clients from the comfort of your home while maintaining work-life balance. Our team operates during standard business hours, specifically Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring that you have a structured work schedule. We utilize a combination of telehealth services and digital collaboration tools to maintain seamless communication and provide effective care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments through structured interviews and standardized assessment tools to thoroughly evaluate clients’ mood disorder symptoms.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring plans are goal-oriented and reflective of their specific needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to deliver effective support and care.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment modalities, and essential self-care strategies, empowering them to actively engage in their recovery process.

• Monitor and assess clients' progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize mental health outcomes.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary medical teams to coordinate care, ensuring that treatment is holistic and integrated.

• Stay informed on the latest research and best practices in the mental health field to enhance therapeutic methods and client support.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions, assessments, and treatment modifications in adherence to ethical and regulatory standards.

• Actively advocate for clients, challenging stigma around mood disorders and promoting their rights to quality mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing various mood disorders, including but not limited to, depression, bipolar disorder, and related anxiety issues. The diverse clientele reflects a wide range of demographics, cultural backgrounds, and socioeconomic statuses, emphasizing the need for sensitivity and adaptability in your therapeutic approach.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is essential.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York is required.

• Demonstrated expertise in CBT and DBT, with a thorough understanding of their application in treating mood disorders.

• A strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and willingness to collaborate with psychiatrists and medical professionals.

• A history of successful treatment outcomes with mood disorder clients is preferred.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to build rapport with individuals from various backgrounds.

• Previous experience in a community health setting or outpatient mental health facility.

Compensation and Benefits\n
