Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and mental health screenings to develop tailored treatment plans that address each patient's needs.

• Deliver short-term individual therapy and immediate crisis intervention services to patients experiencing mental distress, utilizing evidence-based modalities.

• Lead therapeutic group sessions and workshops focused on personal growth, coping strategies, and wellness, fostering a sense of community among participants.

• Work alongside cross-functional teams, including medical professionals and community support services, to ensure holistic and coordinated patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily focus on patients within the community health clinic who present a broad range of mental health concerns, from anxiety and depression to complex trauma and beyond. You will have the opportunity to work with different demographics, including individuals from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, providing culturally competent care tailored to each patient's circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• An active state license as a LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, or PsyD.

• A Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.

• A strong understanding of mental health challenges prevalent in hospital and community settings, with a demonstrated capability to address these effectively.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to connect with patients and collaborate with a diverse range of healthcare professionals.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic practices and brief therapy models tailored for community health environments.

• Demonstrated capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing a diverse caseload with multiple priorities.

Preferred Experience\n

While our minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and relevant licensure, candidates with a Master's degree and additional experience in community mental health or hospital settings will be strongly preferred. Experience leading therapy groups and facilitating workshop programs is also an advantage, as is familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and virtual therapy platforms.
