Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ substance use history, mental health needs, and readiness for change, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of each individual’s unique circumstances.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI), addressing both addiction and co-occurring disorders.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, incorporating therapeutic activities that resonate with clients and encourage active participation in their recovery.

• Maintain ongoing collaboration with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare providers, ensuring coordinated care and addressing all aspects of the client’s wellbeing.

• Guide clients’ families through the recovery process by offering education and support, fostering an environment of understanding and involvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals facing challenges related to substance abuse and addiction, many of whom may also be grappling with co-occurring mental health disorders. Qualifications\n

• A current and valid mental health license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master’s degree or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.
