Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ substance abuse histories, mental health conditions, and individual treatment needs, employing tools and methodologies aligned with best practices.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that not only address addiction but also target any co-occurring mental health issues, creating a holistic approach to recovery.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing (MI) to ensure effectiveness.

• Work in partnership with a diverse treatment team—comprising physicians, nurses, and case managers—to provide integrated and coordinated care tailored to the needs of each client.

• Offer support and educational resources to families of clients, promoting their involvement in the recovery process and ensuring they understand the complexities of addiction.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license in Washington State as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
