Work Environment\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work remotely but will be connected with our outpatient office team in Vancouver, WA. This hybrid setting allows for a balanced approach to work. You will be expected to maintain a professional home office environment conducive to conducting therapy sessions, ensuring the utmost confidentiality and focus for your clients. Our regular work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, with occasional evening or weekend hours available to meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments and diagnoses to understand clients' mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.

• Facilitate individual, couple, and group therapy sessions employing various therapeutic interventions tailored to the specific needs and goals of clients.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to create comprehensive care plans, ensuring all aspects of client care are synchronized.

• Maintain detailed and confidential client records in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring all documentation is up to date.

• Participate in regular clinical supervision, case conferences, and ongoing training to remain updated on the best practices in mental health counseling and professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily focus on diverse adult clients coping with a wide variety of mental health challenges. This includes clients experiencing mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions, and addiction issues. You will need to adapt your therapeutic approaches to meet the unique cultural and personal backgrounds of your clients, fostering a relationship built on trust and compassion.

Qualifications\n

• A valid License as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Washington state is mandatory.

• A Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
