Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to fully evaluate patients’ trauma histories and tailor appropriate treatment approaches accordingly.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, incorporating evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

• Utilize recognized therapeutic techniques including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in both individual and group therapy sessions.

• Provide crisis intervention and emotional support during acute trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients receive immediate and compassionate care.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to create a comprehensive care plan that addresses all aspects of a patient’s mental health needs.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available resources for continued support outside of therapy sessions.

• Maintain accurate and secure documentation that adheres to legal and ethical standards while also participating in ongoing professional development activities.

• Engage actively in case consultations and team meetings to enhance care practices and support fellow colleagues in delivering optimal services.

Our primary client population includes adults experiencing symptoms related to trauma, PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as either an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.

• Must have a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling role.

• Extensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on compassion and non-judgmental support.

• Ability to function effectively in high-stress environments while maintaining a calm demeanor.

Compensation and Benefits\n
