Holistic Mental and Counseling Services is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to provide specialized trauma-informed care to patients in a remote setting. This full-time role is fundamental in delivering high-quality mental health services to individuals impacted by various forms of trauma, including but not limited to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and complex trauma.

Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing for a work-life balance that benefits both our therapists and the patients we serve. While adhering to standard office hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, there may be occasional flexibility required based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient’s unique trauma history and identify tailored treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, enhancing resilience, and restoring mental wellness.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate patient progress.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that empower patients to process trauma, develop healthy coping strategies, and promote a path toward healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other health professionals, ensuring an integrated and holistic approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, maintaining a calm and supportive presence.

• Educate patients and families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and the resources available for further support.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in team meetings, professional development activities, and case consultations focused on trauma-informed care methodologies.

• Stay informed about the latest advancements in trauma therapy practices and integrate them into your work.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals who have experienced trauma, ranging from childhood adversity to recent traumatic events. The clinic specializes in treating adults and children dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. By delivering trauma-informed care, you will play a crucial role in fostering resilience and aiding clients in navigating their recovery journeys.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience providing mental health therapy in a relevant setting.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Experience delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions to diverse patient populations.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• A calm demeanor and the ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations.
\n
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.

• A collaborative spirit to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 104,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
