Work Environment\n

This position allows for remote work while also participating in an outpatient setting. Our team operates under a trauma-informed framework, with a strong emphasis on creating a supportive space for healing and recovery. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility in hours based on patient needs and therapy schedules. This remote role will primarily involve virtual interactions with clients, enhanced by occasional in-office collaboration for team meetings and professional development.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories and identify the best treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and the overall well-being of each patient.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to effectively address patient needs.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions aimed at processing trauma, developing coping strategies, and promoting healing.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, social workers, and other professionals to provide integrated care for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention services, offering immediate support in trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and available coping resources to empower them in their recovery.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Actively participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development related to trauma-informed care.

• Stay current with the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to ensure high-quality care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse population of patients who have experienced various forms of trauma, including but not limited to PTSD, abuse, and complex emotional distress. Your role will involve understanding their unique experiences and designing therapeutic approaches that resonate with their individual journeys. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience providing therapeutic services, preferably in a trauma-informed context.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and various evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

• Proficient in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and essential computer applications.

• A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 2 years post-licensure experience is required, candidates with advanced knowledge in trauma-focused therapies and interventions or those with specific training in modalities such as EMDR or TF-CBT will be highly regarded. Experience in crisis intervention and collaboration with healthcare professionals will also strengthen your application.
