Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to identify each patient’s history and specific treatment needs.

• Develop, implement, and continuously evaluate tailored treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and the cultivation of resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, equipping patients with coping strategies and supportive insights to navigate their healing journeys.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide integrated care and ensure holistic support for patients.

• Address crisis situations by providing timely interventions during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, helping to demystify experiences and clarify available resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in ongoing training, team discussions, and professional development activities aimed at enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a regionally accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-degree experience in mental health counseling, particularly in trauma-focused settings.

• A strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Proven experience in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

Compensation and Benefits\n
