Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories, enabling the development of tailored treatment plans.

• Implement and monitor individualized treatment plans which emphasize trauma recovery and the cultivation of coping strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to address patients' specific needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for patients to process their experiences and practice new skills.

• Engage in regular collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to coordinate an integrated care approach for patients.

• Respond effectively to crisis situations by providing immediate support and interventions during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms while guiding them through the available mental health resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities that focus on enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to ensure best practices are utilized in patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will work with include individuals who have faced various types of trauma, resulting in complex psychological challenges. Our patient population often struggles with conditions such as PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your role as a therapist is crucial in providing them with the support and guidance necessary for their healing journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon.

• While we prefer candidates with a minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, we value dedication and the ability to learn rapidly.

• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications for documentation and communication.

Compensation and Benefits\n
