This role offers the flexibility of remote work through our telehealth services, allowing you to provide vital mental health support to individuals impacted by trauma, including those dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and complex trauma.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories and identify the most effective treatment strategies.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on recovery and the development of resilience in individuals suffering from trauma-related conditions.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during therapy sessions.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering an environment conducive to healing, where patients can process their trauma and enhance their coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to patient care.
\n
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, helping clients stabilize in times of distress.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available resources to further their understanding and management of their experiences.

• Ensure all documentation is accurate, confidential, and complies with legal and ethical standards, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) system effectively.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities focusing on trauma-informed care methodologies.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to continuously enhance treatment effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily serves individuals affected by trauma, including those facing PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. The therapist will be instrumental in supporting patients as they navigate their unique recovery journeys, offering specialized care that promotes healing and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Active and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois.
\n
• A strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities is critical.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, fostering a compassionate and non-judgmental therapist-client relationship.

• Must demonstrate calmness under pressure, especially during high-stress situations.
\n
• Proficient in utilizing electronic health records (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.

• A commitment to collaborative teamwork within a multidisciplinary care environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, preferably in a trauma-focused therapeutic setting.

• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
