Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed assessments to understand each patient’s unique trauma history and needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery and resilience-building, tailored to the individual’s goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions that encourage patients to process their trauma, cultivate coping strategies, and promote personal growth.

• Work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and integrated care for patients, enhancing overall treatment outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, equipped to manage high-stress situations with composure.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and additional resources to foster better understanding and support.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation, adhering to all applicable legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care, staying current with the latest research in the field.

Your work will primarily focus on individuals who have experienced trauma and may present with various trauma-related disorders. You will provide compassionate support to these patients through a framework that emphasizes empathy, understanding, and resilience. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as either an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.
\n
• Strong foundation in trauma-informed care and evidence-based methodologies.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal skills, combined with a compassionate approach to treatment.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with computer applications relevant to the role.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience, particularly within a therapeutic context addressing trauma.

• Proven ability to deliver trauma-focused therapies, with specific experience in modalities such as EMDR and TF-CBT.

• Experience working in outpatient mental health settings or community health clinics.

Compensation and Benefits\n
