Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Therapist, your key responsibilities include:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand each patient's trauma history and aid in tailoring appropriate treatment plans.

• Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans, specifically targeting trauma recovery and resilience-building strategies.

• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions, empowering patients to process their trauma, develop coping mechanisms, and foster self-discovery.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care that meets multifaceted patient needs.

• Offering crisis intervention and support during acute trauma-related emergencies to ensure patient safety and well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on individuals who have experienced trauma, including those diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in California.

• An understanding of trauma-related disorders and demonstrated competency in trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
