Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to develop an understanding of each patient's trauma history and symptoms, guiding treatment decisions.

• Design and implement comprehensive, individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience building, utilizing evidence-based practices.

• Provide therapeutic interventions grounded in techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), ensuring that care aligns with best practices.

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, facilitating a supportive environment where patients can process their experiences, develop coping strategies, and work toward healing.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and allied health professionals to create a cohesive care plan tailored to each patient's unique needs, ensuring integrated treatment approaches.

• Offer crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies to stabilize and guide patients through acute episodes.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources, empowering them to take an active role in their healing.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Engage in case consultations, attend team meetings, and participate in ongoing professional development focused on trauma-informed care.

• Stay abreast of the latest research, techniques, and best practices in trauma therapy, continuously integrating new knowledge into day-to-day work.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals impacted by varied trauma experiences, including victims of violence, abuse, and those coping with life-altering traumas. Your sensitivity and understanding will be paramount in creating a therapeutic space that fosters healing and empowers patients to reclaim their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Massachusetts.
\n
• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment methodologies, and approaches aimed at resilience building.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate, non-judgmental approach in interactions with patients.

• Proven ability to stay calm and composed in high-stress situations, ensuring patient trust and confidence.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications pertinent to clinical documentation.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting preferred, demonstrating effective delivery of trauma-focused therapies.

• Experience working within community health systems or trauma-informed care settings is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
