Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' trauma history and current mental health status, identifying appropriate treatment paths.

• Develop, implement, and regularly review personalized treatment plans focused on enhancing trauma recovery and resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process traumatic events, develop coping skills, and foster emotional healing.

• Collaborate effectively with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, to ensure a comprehensive approach to care.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and stabilization support during emergencies related to trauma.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, adaptive coping strategies, and available community resources.

• Maintain meticulous records and documentation of all patient interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing education opportunities to enhance trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed of the latest research and developments in the field of trauma therapy to continually improve service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role will be on individuals grappling with trauma, including but not limited to survivors of abuse, veterans coping with PTSD, and individuals experiencing heightened anxiety due to past events. By utilizing innovative telehealth strategies, you will help patients navigate their mental health journey and empower them to cultivate resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Massachusetts.

• Strong foundation in trauma-informed care principles and techniques.
\n
• Demonstrated understanding of trauma-related disorders and resilience-focused interventions.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.

• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team framework.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
