Work Environment\n

Our work setting encompasses both remote accessibility and traditional outpatient dynamics. We offer flexibility to accommodate our therapists and their scheduling needs while ensuring that our patients receive continuous support. You will work 40 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet patient scheduling needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma history, which will guide the formulation of personalized treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, taking into account the unique circumstances of each patient.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to support patient healing.

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, encouraging patients to process their trauma and develop effective coping mechanisms.

• Actively collaborate with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure an integrated and comprehensive approach to patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring safety and stabilization for affected patients.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources that can aid in their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work at Stem Psychological Center will revolve around a diverse client population, with a primary focus on individuals affected by trauma. Our patients might have endured experiences leading to PTSD, complex trauma, or dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is essential.

• Current and valid licensure in Massachusetts as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW is required for this position.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in the mental health field is preferred, particularly in trauma-focused environments.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed care, with an understanding of resilience-building methodologies.

• Proficient in delivering trauma-focused therapies, creating a safe space for clients to explore their experiences.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, exhibiting kindness and a non-judgmental approach towards clients.

• The ability to remain calm and composed during crises and high-stress scenarios is vital.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications is necessary.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
