Work Environment\n

This role is structured around a remote work setting, allowing for flexibility while connecting with clients through telehealth platforms and virtual therapy sessions. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments that evaluate patients' trauma histories to form a basis for effective treatment plans.

• Design and execute individualized treatment strategies that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and personal growth.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) tailored to clients' needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to assist clients in processing their trauma, developing coping skills, and facilitating their healing journey.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure that all aspects of clients' care are coordinated and comprehensive.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring safety and emotional stability.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and available resources to create a comprehensive support system.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in adherence to legal and ethical standards to ensure client privacy and care continuity.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, participating in case consultations and training focused on trauma-informed care methodology.

• Stay updated on the latest research and best practices related to trauma therapy, continually enhancing your professional competencies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role will be on individuals who have suffered from significant trauma, particularly those dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. As a therapist, you will work closely with a diverse patient population, providing them with tailored support that respects their unique experiences and healing needs.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona is required.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, preferably in trauma-informed care settings.
\n
• Deep understanding of trauma-related disorders and experience with trauma-focused therapeutic modalities.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.
\n
• Ability to remain composed and effective in high-pressure situations.
\n
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and necessary computer applications.

• A collaborative mindset conducive to working within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

While 2 years of experience in a relevant mental health setting is required, candidates with additional training or certifications in trauma therapy techniques will be highly favored. Experience in conducting both individual and group therapy is also beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n
