Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's history and needs, leading to personalized treatment strategies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, coping strategies, and resilience-building techniques.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic models such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in individual and group therapy sessions.

• Support patients through the therapeutic process by facilitating sessions that help them process trauma and develop effective coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention for patients experiencing acute trauma-related issues.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources for support.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with legal standards and ethical practices.

• Participate actively in professional development opportunities, including case consultations and training aimed at enhancing trauma-informed care methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including those diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma, and related disorders. This role requires a deep understanding of the psychological impacts of trauma and the resilience needed to recover. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.

• Strong knowledge and experience with trauma-related disorders and treatment modalities.

• Available to demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills while sustaining a non-judgmental, empathetic approach with patients.

• Ability to manage stressful situations with a calm demeanor.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health records systems and proficient in using various computer applications relevant to clinical practice.

• Strong collaborative skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary treatment team.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
