Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing you to deliver care from the comfort of your home while maintaining a connection to a collaborative outpatient team. Our practice emphasizes a trauma-informed approach, ensuring that all interactions with clients are rooted in understanding and compassion. The position typically follows a Monday to Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' histories and needs, ensuring the identification of appropriate therapeutic pathways.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans aimed at fostering recovery, resilience, and personal growth.

• Deliver diverse therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that promote positive processing of trauma, coping strategies, and community support.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies, offering immediate support and tools to manage distress.

• Educate clients and their families regarding trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and the resources available to them, thereby enhancing their understanding and empowerment.

• Maintain accurate, confidential, and compliant documentation in alignment with legal and ethical guidelines.

• Actively participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development focused on trauma-informed care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients include individuals of various ages who have experienced trauma, resulting in conditions such as PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. The therapist in this role will be pivotal in guiding these individuals through evidence-based interventions, fostering an atmosphere where healing and resilience can thrive.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, Psychologist, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Demonstrated strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methods.

• Compelling interpersonal and communication skills paired with a non-judgmental, compassionate approach towards clients.

• The capability to maintain composure in high-stress situations while providing empathetic support.

Preferred Experience\n

We prefer candidates to possess at least two years of post-licensure experience in trauma-focused therapy, with a proven track record of implementing effective evidence-based interventions. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is advantageous, as is experience working in multidisciplinary teams to guide holistic client care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
