Work Environment\n

This position provides the flexibility of working remotely within a supportive and collaborative team. While most work is conducted remotely, you will still have enriching opportunities for virtual teamwork, consultations, and professional engagements. Our work schedule typically runs Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility necessary to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and inform tailored treatment approaches.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, resilience-building strategies, and overall mental health improvements.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support patient healing.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions that help patients articulate their trauma experiences and develop effective coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive and comprehensive patient care, sharing insights that enrich treatment plans.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, helping patients navigate acute emotional challenges.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, therapeutic processes, and available community resources.

• Maintain precise, confidential documentation aligned with legal and ethical standards to facilitate quality care and compliance.

• Engage in case consultations and interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing insights and learning from shared experiences focused on trauma-informed care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role specifically addresses the needs of individuals experiencing mental health challenges stemming from trauma. Our patient population typically includes those diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your expertise will not only allow these individuals to process their experiences but will also support their journeys toward improved emotional and psychological well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment methodologies, and approaches for building patient resilience.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and communication tools.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a therapeutic role, particularly focusing on trauma care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
