Get Well Counseling Center LTD is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our compassionate and skilled team. This full-time role, set primarily in a remote work environment, allows you to focus on providing exceptional care to individuals affected by trauma. You'll play a vital role in offering specialized mental health services to promote recovery and resilience among our patients, particularly those dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders.

This remote position offers the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home while maintaining an essential connection with our clients and team members through virtual interactions. Our office hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a stable routine while offering some flexibility to accommodate patient needs. We are a close-knit team, relying on regular communication and collaboration to uphold high standards of care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma history and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Create and implement individualized treatment strategies focused on trauma recovery and resilience-building, leveraging evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that assist patients in processing their trauma, understanding coping mechanisms, and promoting overall healing.

• Engage in close collaboration with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure integrated care and optimal treatment outcomes for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention as needed, offering immediate support during trauma-related emergencies to help stabilize patients.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, available resources, and effective coping strategies to enhance their support system.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring all patient information is securely recorded and easily accessible for ongoing care.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development opportunities, staying updated with the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in Washington State.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities and resilience-building approaches.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to clients.

• Ability to stay calm and composed in high-stress situations, demonstrating resilience and commitment.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and a strong grasp of various computer applications.

• Collaborative mindset, capable of working effectively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling environment, particularly with trauma-focused therapies and interventions.

• Experience working with diverse populations and adapting therapeutic techniques to meet individual client needs.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
