Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments that evaluate patients' trauma histories, shaping the foundation for effective treatment plans.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that focus on strategies for trauma recovery, resilience building, and emotional regulation.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support patients in their healing journey.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients through processing trauma and developing adaptive coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other clinicians to coordinate integrated care plans that address both mental and physical health needs.

• Perform crisis intervention and provide support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and immediate care.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, outline coping mechanisms, and provide information on available resources for additional support.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, training, and staying abreast of the latest research in trauma therapy.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in Washington State.

• Fundamental knowledge of trauma-informed care and an understanding of trauma-related disorders is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
