Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for a flexible work environment that prioritizes your work-life balance while enabling you to reach patients who may otherwise face barriers to accessing care. The typical work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some adjustments possible based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments, utilizing standardized tools and empathic interviewing techniques to gain a comprehensive understanding of each patient’s trauma history.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that outline evidence-based therapeutic strategies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), aimed at supporting recovery and enhancing resilience.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on trauma processing, developing coping mechanisms, and building supportive community among patients.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, social workers, and other allied health professionals to coordinate comprehensive care that addresses all aspects of a patient’s health and well-being.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support services to patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, facilitating safety and stabilization.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, adaptive coping strategies, and connect them with community resources for ongoing support.
\n
• Maintain exemplary documentation of patient care in adherence to legal and ethical standards, including progress notes and treatment summaries.

• Participate in regular team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing training dedicated to enhancing trauma-informed practices.

• Stay current with the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy, using this knowledge to inform clinical decisions and improve patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary patient population consists of individuals navigating the challenges of trauma and mental health issues, including children, adolescents, and adults affected by significant life events. Our clinic prioritizes accessibility and culturally competent care, ensuring that all patients receive the support they need in a manner that respects their identities and experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.
\n
• Strong foundational knowledge in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed care methodologies.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with an ability to connect genuinely with patients in a compassionate, non-judgmental manner.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant software applications for documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience working in a mental health setting, particularly within trauma-focused care environments.

• Demonstrated competency in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
