Ultimate Support Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW) to join our growing team on a full-time basis. Work Environment\n

This position operates remotely, allowing counselors the flexibility to engage with clients from various locations. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients' histories and developing personalized treatment approaches tailored to each individual’s circumstances.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on trauma recovery, incorporating resilience-building techniques.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic methods, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to effectively address trauma-related issues.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process their trauma and develop coping mechanisms in a nurturing environment.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and mental health professionals to ensure integrated care, optimizing resources for client support.

• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, addressing trauma-related emergencies with professional calmness and empathy.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on understanding trauma responses, enhancing coping strategies, and exploring available resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to improve treatment approaches and enhance professional skills related to trauma-informed care.

• Continuously update knowledge by researching the latest advancements in trauma therapy and related treatment modalities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clientele includes individuals of diverse backgrounds who have experienced various forms of trauma, including but not limited to physical, emotional, and psychological abuse. Our therapists specialize in working with those dealing with PTSD and complex trauma, often providing a safe space for clients to express their experiences and emotions without judgment. The ability to build trust and rapport is essential in fostering effective therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.

• Strong expertise in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Exemplary interpersonal skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach to therapy.

• Proven ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations, ensuring clients feel safe and understood.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

We prefer candidates with at least two years of post-licensure experience providing trauma-informed therapeutic interventions. Experience in delivering group therapy and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams will also be highly regarded, as these skills are crucial for our integrated approach to care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
