With an annual salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000, you will play a critical role in providing therapeutic support and personalized treatment strategies to meet the needs of our patients.

This position offers a flexible remote work setting, allowing you to connect with clients from the comfort of your own home or preferred workspace. Your regular work hours will be from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Engage with clients through virtual therapy sessions, effectively listening to their unique experiences and challenges related to trauma.

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations to assess the mental and emotional needs of patients, subsequently developing comprehensive and individualized treatment plans.

• Collaborate with clients to set attainable goals and equip them with effective coping strategies and resilience-building skills.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma-informed care and self-management strategies, fostering a supportive environment for recovery.

• Maintain collaborative relationships with healthcare providers, social agencies, and community resources to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Regularly monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to reflect changes in their condition or needs.

• Stay up-to-date with advancements in mental health practices by completing continuing education courses as required for maintaining National Certified Counselor certification.

• Contribute to the organization’s mission by identifying gaps in patient care services related to trauma recovery and advocating for improvements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients who are experiencing psychological trauma, which may include individuals recovering from accidents, abuse, or other significant life events. Each patient presents unique needs, and your expertise will guide them through structured assessments, personalized therapies, and support plans designed specifically for their healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field is required.

• Current and valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential is necessary.

• At least 3 years of experience working with trauma patients, demonstrating an understanding of various therapeutic methodologies.

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and telehealth software for documentation and patient engagement.

• Strong communication skills to effectively convey therapeutic concepts and actively engage with patients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with Salesforce or electronic medical records (EMR) systems is highly desirable and will be considered a significant advantage in streamlining patient documentation.
