Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories and determine the most suitable treatment strategies.

• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and building resilience.

• Provide a variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions including, but not limited to, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process their trauma experiences, develop essential coping strategies, and foster emotional healing.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to ensure a holistic approach to each client’s treatment.

• Offer crisis intervention and immediate support in trauma-related emergencies to ensure client safety and well-being.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources for continued support.

• Maintain confidential and accurate documentation as per legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings to enhance care practices and foster professional development.

• Stay current with research and advancements in trauma-informed care and therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will be working primarily with adult and adolescent clients who have undergone various traumatic experiences. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in the state of California.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience providing mental health therapy, ideally with a focus on trauma.

• Comprehensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated ability to effectively deliver trauma-focused therapies and interventions.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The offered salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
