Work Environment\n

This position offers a fully remote work setting through Telehealth platforms, enabling you to connect with a diverse patient population from the comfort of your home. Standard work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility needed to accommodate patient schedules. Our telehealth facility equips you with the necessary technology to provide effective virtual therapy.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients’ backgrounds and develop appropriate intervention strategies.

• Create and regularly update individualized treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery and enhancing resilience in patients.

• Utilize therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to deliver impactful therapy sessions.

• Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions that focus on processing trauma and developing effective coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless, integrated care for clients, enhancing overall treatment outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention support during critical moments, ensuring that patients are safe and receiving the help they need.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, healthy coping strategies, and available resources for ongoing support.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in compliance with ethical and legal standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Engage in team meetings, case consultations, and continuous professional development to promote innovations in trauma-informed care.

• Stay current with the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to enhance the quality of treatment provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with adults who are navigating the complexities of trauma-related mental health challenges. This includes individuals with PTSD, those experiencing the aftermath of complex traumatic experiences, and clients with dissociative disorders. Your role will be crucial in helping these patients develop coping strategies, process their experiences, and ultimately reclaim their sense of self.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Psychologist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

Compensation and Benefits\n
