Work Environment\n

This is a fully remote position, allowing for a flexible work-life balance while maintaining a strong connection with our dedicated team. You will engage with clients through telehealth platforms, enabling access to essential mental health services from the comfort of their own homes. Your working hours will be from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, providing you with a structured yet adaptable schedule.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed and thorough assessments of clients' psychological and substance use issues to identify co-occurring disorders accurately.

• Develop tailored and individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring that both their mental health and substance use needs are addressed with evidence-based interventions.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, equipping clients with vital coping strategies, relapse prevention skills, and techniques for emotional regulation.
\n
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and nurses, to ensure a holistic approach to treatment that supports each client's unique recovery journey.

• Implement regular substance use monitoring and apply motivational interviewing strategies to enhance clients’ engagement in their recovery process.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about the intertwined nature of mental health and substance use disorders, fostering understanding and treatment adherence.

• Maintain precise and up-to-date records of treatment progress, interventions, and referrals to uphold ethical and legal standards in documentation.

• Participate actively in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing training, enhancing personal and team competencies in the treatment of co-occurring disorders.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities for co-occurring disorders, including Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• A deep understanding of the interactions between mental health conditions and substance use disorders.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration within a diverse interdisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n
