Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients presenting with eating disorder symptoms and any co-occurring mental health conditions, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of each individual's needs.

• Develop tailored treatment plans based on assessment insights and actively collaborate with clients to establish realistic and achievable recovery goals.

• Implement and facilitate evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), focusing specifically on the nuances of eating disorders.

• Lead therapy sessions aimed at addressing clients' distorted beliefs surrounding body image, relationships with food, and self-esteem.

• Empower clients to cultivate healthy coping strategies, emotional regulation skills, and the ability to resist disordered eating patterns.

• Work closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure continuity of care and comprehensively address clients’ emotional, physical, and psychological needs.

• Deliver psychoeducation to clients and their families, enhancing their understanding and fostering an encouraging recovery environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Nevada.

• A strong foundation in evidence-based therapies such as CBT, DBT, and ACT, particularly as they pertain to eating disorder treatment.
