Our work schedule is set during regular business hours, Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life dynamic. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' eating disorder symptoms, co-occurring mental health conditions, and specific treatment needs associated with their recovery journeys.

• Collaborate with clients to create and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, ensuring that goals are both realistic and achievable.

• Deliver high-quality evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), tailored to address clients' unique challenges.

• Facilitate engaging therapy sessions that focus on resolving distorted beliefs about body image, food, and self-worth, while empowering clients to cultivate healthier coping strategies.

• Assist clients in developing effective emotional regulation skills and strategies to resist disordered eating behaviors, enhancing their overall quality of life.

• Collaborate actively with the multidisciplinary treatment team to coordinate care, ensuring continuity of treatment and comprehensive support for clients' holistic needs.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families, enhancing their understanding of eating disorders and creating a supportive environment for recovery.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of clients' progress, treatment plans, and therapy sessions, in compliance with both legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Tennessee is mandatory.

• Proficiency in evidence-based therapies for eating disorders such as CBT, DBT, and ACT is essential.

• In-depth understanding of the complexities surrounding eating disorders and related co-occurring mental health conditions.

Preferred Experience\n

Candidates should possess a minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling, particularly in treating eating disorders.
