Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive preliminary interviews to assess and document clients' mental and emotional health from initial consultation through to end-of-treatment.

• Evaluate and analyze clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health in order to formulate effective treatment plans.
\n
• Design and implement appropriate individual and group therapy interventions, focusing on specific client needs.
\n
• Facilitate therapeutic sessions, employing various evidence-based modalities tailored to the client’s unique circumstances.
\n
• Actively monitor and document clients' progress in accordance with established treatment plans, making adjustments as necessary based on client feedback and clinical insight.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including social workers, psychiatrists, and nurses, to develop comprehensive intervention plans.
\n
• Provide support for clients transitioning in and out of hospital care, coordinating with attending physicians and psychiatrists for continuity of care.
\n
• Identify and mitigate potential barriers to recovery, empowering clients to overcome challenges during their therapeutic journey.

• Offer guidance and support to family members and caregivers as they navigate their loved ones' mental health challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Tennessee is essential.

• A passing score on the National Counseling Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE) is mandatory.

• A solid foundation of previous experience in a mental health counseling role is preferred.
\n
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems such as AVATAR is highly beneficial.

• Familiarity with the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices and understanding of pharmacological effects is advantageous.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with superb interpersonal abilities, are crucial for this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
