Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate mood disorder symptoms, including severity, frequency, and duration, ensuring an accurate understanding of the client’s condition.

• Collaborate closely with clients to formulate personalized treatment plans that align with their individual goals, preferences, and needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address mood disorders effectively.

• Provide education and ongoing support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment pathways, and effective self-care strategies.

• Monitor clients' progress throughout their treatment journey, making necessary adjustments to their treatment plans to optimize outcomes.

• Engage in close cooperation with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

• Stay informed about the latest best practices and research in mental health, which will enhance your therapeutic techniques and interventions.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans according to legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse clientele experiencing various mood disorders, such as depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety-related disorders, and other related mental health challenges. Your ability to engage with patients from different backgrounds will be crucial in fostering therapeutic relationships and enabling positive therapeutic outcomes.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Tennessee.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
