Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and substance use needs, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of any co-occurring disorders.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based interventions, addressing both mental health needs and substance use issues.

• Deliver individual and group therapy, focusing on equipping clients with coping strategies, relapse prevention skills, and emotional regulation techniques.

• Implement regular substance use monitoring protocols and utilize motivational interviewing tactics to foster client engagement in their recovery journey.

• Educate clients and their families on the connection between mental health and substance use disorders, highlighting the significance of treatment adherence.

• Document treatment progress accurately and promptly, adhering to ethical and legal guidelines in all reporting.

• Participate actively in case conferences, team meetings, and professional training to enhance knowledge regarding co-occurring disorders and integrated treatment modalities.

As a key member of our team, you will work primarily with individuals facing the dual challenges of mental health and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based practices specifically related to co-occurring disorders, including Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• Comprehensive understanding of the relationship between mental health and substance use disorders.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills complemented by the ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team setting.
