This position primarily operates through a telehealth platform, which allows therapists the flexibility to provide care from the comfort of their own space. In this setting, you will have access to in-house credentialing support, assistance with insurance participation, and a streamlined management system for efficient scheduling.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments for individuals, families, and groups, identifying their specific mental health needs.

• Initiate and document initial comprehensive patient assessments, utilizing diagnostic tools to create appropriate treatment plans.

• Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams regarding patient care, ensuring all aspects of treatment are documented during meetings, including patient rounds.

• Provide compassionate and skilled care addressing the full spectrum of patients' needs, focusing on their physical, psychological, social, educational, and safety requirements.

• Engage in case management activities, collaborating with healthcare professionals and community resources to ensure comprehensive patient care.

• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of ethical guidelines in mental health care, completing documentation accurately and promptly as per department standards.

• Implement Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques and other evidence-based modalities to help clients achieve their therapeutic goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a varied client demographic that includes individuals of all ages facing diverse challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your role will involve customization of treatment plans to meet the specific needs of each client and their family, with a strong emphasis on culturally responsive care.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following:

• A valid license as Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) issued by the State of New Jersey.
