Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct supportive individual therapy sessions for assigned patients, under the supervision of a nursing professional, adapting approaches based on their unique treatment plans and progress.

• Maintain diligent observation of patients, documenting critical information that aligns with their therapeutic goals, ensuring prompt and accurate recording in designated electronic health record systems.
\n
• Guide patients and their families through the treatment process, providing education about their conditions and setting productive expectations for their care.
\n
• Facilitate patient access to required resources, managing referrals and advocating for services that enhance overall treatment outcomes.

• Regularly produce quality progress notes that reflect the patient's ongoing progress towards their treatment goals, as per department standards, following all relevant guidelines for clinical documentation.

• Possess and demonstrate a thorough understanding of treatment objectives for each assigned patient, contributing valuable insights and recommendations during team meetings.

• Assist patients with personal needs, offering a hands-on, empathetic approach while maintaining professional boundaries and promoting patient autonomy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with a diverse clientele consisting of individuals across a range of age groups and backgrounds who are navigating various mental health challenges. Your role will involve tailoring therapeutic strategies to address conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and other behavioral health issues. The clinic emphasizes culturally competent care, ensuring that each patient feels heard, understood, and respected.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.

• Active state licensure as either an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW is necessary; provisional or limited licenses will not be accepted.

• Minimum of three years of experience in mental health or clinical settings is expected, demonstrating the ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.
