Inside Access Psychotherapy Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our expanding team. This full-time role involves providing specialized mental health care remotely to individuals affected by trauma, with a focus on developing individualized treatment plans that support trauma recovery and promote resilience.

Work Environment\n

This role is designed for a remote work setting, providing flexibility while allowing our therapists to connect meaningfully with patients. The primary work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some scheduling flexibility required based on patient needs. You will be joining a passionate and supportive multidisciplinary team, where collaboration is encouraged to ensure the highest quality of patient care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and determine the most appropriate treatment modalities.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are centered around resilience-building and effective trauma recovery strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), in both individual and group therapy formats.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, encouraging patients to process their trauma and develop effective coping strategies.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care that addresses all aspects of a patient's mental health.

• Provide crisis intervention and emotional support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients feel safe and heard.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, available resources, and effective coping mechanisms for ongoing support.
\n
• Maintain clear, accurate, and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards to ensure continuity of care.

• Participate in case consultations and team meetings to enhance collaborative care efforts, integrating the latest research and best practices into daily work.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on serving a diverse population of trauma survivors, including children, adolescents, and adults who are navigating the complex effects of trauma. You will have the opportunity to help individuals build resilience, learn coping mechanisms, and ultimately, enhance their quality of life through focused therapy. Our target demographics may include those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and associated mental health disorders.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed care principles.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience in a behavioral health setting, particularly in trauma-informed care.

• Experience delivering trauma-focused therapy, including EMDR and TF-CBT, is highly desirable.

• A proven ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations and an aptitude for effective crisis intervention.

Compensation and Benefits\n
