Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma history, emotional state, and social context, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of each individual's unique needs.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that not only address immediate concerns but also promote long-term resilience and recovery.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate effective trauma processing.

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients navigate their trauma, develop healthy coping mechanisms, and foster emotional growth.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to create a comprehensive care plan that attends to all aspects of patient wellbeing.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating an ability to remain calm under pressure.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, emphasizing the importance of self-care and community resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of patient interactions and progress, adhering to all legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California is essential.

• A minimum of two years of professional experience in a mental health setting, preferably post-licensure.

Compensation and Benefits\n
