Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Greenleaf Health Partners, you will:

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate the histories of your patients and identify targeted treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement individualized, comprehensive treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, incorporating evidence-based approaches.

• Utilize trauma-specific therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate patient healing.

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions, fostering a supportive environment for patients to express themselves and develop coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals, ensuring comprehensive and integrated care for all patients.

• Lead crisis intervention efforts and provide immediate support during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available community resources.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards while utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate in case consultations and professional development activities focused on trauma-informed practices to continually enhance your skills.

• Stay current with the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our clients are diverse in background and experience, often dealing with significant emotional and psychological challenges stemming from their traumas. Your role will be pivotal in their journey toward recovery, where client-centered care and individualized attention make all the difference.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting.
\n
• Strong understanding of trauma-related conditions and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Proven experience in delivering effective trauma-focused therapies and interventions.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy and a non-judgmental attitude.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations.

• Proficient use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and computer applications.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience is required, candidates with a background specifically focused on trauma therapy and therapeutic interventions will be preferred.
